Strella Changelog – August 21, 2026
This week we shipped automatic response coding, a rebuilt report viewer, report downloads in Word, and file attachments in the Build assistant.

Automatic response coding
Every open-ended question on a project's Analysis page now has its answers sorted into a small set of categories, with no prompt to write. The categories show as a chart on the question's page, and new interviews are sorted in as they arrive.
Reports read like a document
The report viewer has been rebuilt for long-form reading: a new frame, a cover, and typography scaled for a document. Arrows in the header move to the previous or next report without closing the viewer.
Download a report as Word
Reports now download as Word (.docx) as well as PDF. Both sit under Download in the report's menu.
File attachments in the Build assistant
The Build tab's assistant reads the files you hand it: attached images and PDFs, pasted screenshots, and iPhone HEIC photos.
Small fixes
- Stimulus images: a duplicated project keeps showing its images after the original is deleted
- Panel recruitment: large screener orders load their full participants table
- Starting an interview: granting microphone permission fills the device pickers and enables Join
- Tasks: during a task, a participant thinking aloud keeps the interview active even while the AI is quiet
