Strella Changelog – August 14, 2026
This week we shipped analysis filters for device and audience, a redesigned AI Chat, first impressions on prototypes, and project defaults.

Filter analysis by device and audience
Analysis and the Interviews tab can now filter by device (desktop web, mobile web, or mobile app) and by audience: the share link or panel order a participant came through. Copying the page URL hands a teammate the same filtered view.
A redesigned AI Chat
AI Chat got a redesign: it now matches the rest of the app, and it is easier to move between a chat and your other work. Your chats are grouped into Favorites and Recents, and you can rename, favorite, or delete any of them.
Capture prototype first impressions before participants start clicking
A new Advanced setting, "Block interaction until answered," dims a Figma prototype or embed and covers it while its question is on screen. Set it per item, on web and in the mobile app.
Project defaults
Settings now has a Project defaults page under Team, where you set the appearance, interview setup, and AI moderator settings that every new project starts from. Existing studies keep their own settings.
Small fixes
- Screener setup: the Legal agreement item can now be added from the + on any screener question, not just the section header
- Media blocks: editing your Question Guide keeps a media block's URL, and Figma prototype links now embed correctly
- Notes and new projects: notes containing unusual characters save correctly, and every new project starts from a publishable starter guide
- Interview data exports: recording links in the "Export interview data" spreadsheet now open for signed-in teammates with access
- Build assistant: moving or reordering a question now keeps its wording and settings
