Strella Changelog – May 29, 2026
This week we shipped a new Rating scale question type, the ability to hide sessions from analysis, and AI Chat project filtering by workspace.

A new Rating scale question type
You can now add a Rating scale question to your Question Guide to capture participant sentiment, with three styles to fit the use case: Likert (strongly disagree to strongly agree), faces, or stars. Multiple-choice questions also gain selection limits, so you can require a minimum number of selections or cap the maximum.
Hide sessions from analysis
You can now exclude sessions from analysis without deleting them, straight from the session menu. Excluded sessions stay in your session list but are filtered out of analysis views, theme summaries, AI charts, and AI Chat quotes — and the toggle is reversible at any time.
Filter AI Chat projects by workspace
The project picker in AI Chat now lets you filter projects by workspace and flags projects that have no sessions yet, so you don't pick an empty one.
Small fixes
- Copy call link from the participant table: the Copy call link action is now available directly from the participant table's Completed tab, not just the session share menu
- Call feedback without a comment: leaving a star rating at the end of a call now saves even when no written comment is added
- Resizable highlight summary: the summary field in the Edit Highlight dialog is now a multi-line box that grows with longer text instead of scrolling
- Steady camera preview: your call camera preview now stays pinned to the corner you placed it in when the window is resized
- Transcript downloads for any name: transcripts now download correctly for participants whose names include emoji or special characters
- Accurate order completion counts: recruitment orders now count only fully completed sessions toward an order's total
