Strella Changelog – March 20, 2026

This week we shipped a unified AI Chat experience, stronger participant anonymization, more precise AI moderator controls, and more shareable reports.

Unified AI Chat

AI Chat is now one unified experience instead of separate Analyze, Create Charts, and Create Reports modes. You can create charts, highlight reels, and reports from the same place, and citations now open inline so you can preview the underlying user recordings more easily.

Stronger participant anonymization

You can now turn on name anonymization in Project Settings to replace participant names with random aliases throughout Strella. Anonymization carries through transcripts, analysis, reports, CSV exports, and session imports, and also hides emails and social links to better protect participant identity.

Per-question verbatim control in Adaptive mode

You can now keep the AI moderator in Adaptive mode overall while marking specific questions to be asked exactly as written. This gives you more control over critical wording without making the whole interview fully strict.

More shareable reports

Shared report pages and PDF reports now support shareable video links, so it’s easier to send evidence-backed findings with direct access to the underlying clips.

Small fixes

  • Recruiting workflows: recruitment tables now remember your filter and column settings per project
  • Report save flow: AI Chat reports save faster without a page reload
  • Speaker attribution: more accurate speaker labeling in multi-person transcripts
  • CSV exports: participant custom fields and anonymized emails now export more reliably
