Strella Changelog – February 27, 2026
This week we shipped new AI question behavior controls so you can choose between Strict mode (reads your guide exactly) and Adaptive mode (allows minor phrasing changes for a more natural flow), plus more reliable AI Chat on long transcripts and variant-based analysis segmentation.

AI question behavior controls
You can now choose whether the AI moderator follows your question guide in Strict or Adaptive mode. Strict reads questions exactly as written in your guide, while Adaptive can make minor phrasing changes to keep the participant experience more natural.

More reliable AI Chat for long transcripts
AI Chat now handles very large transcripts more reliably, reducing errors and mismatches when you explore long sessions.
Analysis segmentation by variant
You can now segment analysis results by variant groups with a dedicated Variant filter on the Analysis page. It appears when interviewees are assigned mutually exclusive, collectively exhaustive variants, and helps you compare outcomes across variants in one view.
Clearer language labels in settings
Language selectors now show full readable names like "German" instead of short codes, making language settings easier to scan and less ambiguous.

Small fixes
- Transcript reliability: fixed transcript regeneration issues, including edge cases in older analytics experiences.
- Guide setup stability: setup guide content now saves properly during guided chat setup.
- Faster page loads: improved dashboard and project page performance.
- Upload session improvements: multiple file uploads no longer overwrite each other.
