Strella Changelog – February 13, 2026

This week we shipped research document import for faster project setup, task timers for User Interviews-recruited participants, refreshed voice and audio defaults, and brought session tags back.

Research document import with live preview

You can now upload a research document and have Strella auto-populate your interview guide steps. As the AI generates outputs, the preview panel updates in real time so you can watch your guide take shape as it’s created.

Task timers in interviews (User Interviews panel)

Participants recruited through the User Interviews panel now see a task timer during interview tasks, making it clearer how long they have to complete each activity.

Voice and audio settings improvements

We made several improvements to make voice configuration clearer and more consistent across projects:

  • Curated voice options with clearer language choices, plus gender-based moderator voice selection.
  • Updated defaults for new projects: new projects now start with English preselected by default.

Session review improvements

The session modal now supports session tags again in the Profile tab, with tag styling that matches other badges in the UI.

We also added the ability to download individual clips which you can do so directly from a note's menu.

Quality-of-life improvements

Dynamic follow-ups default: set a project-wide default for follow-up question depth from Question Guide settings

Improved publishing feedback: publishing now updates the UI immediately without requiring a page reload

Small fixes

  • Safer external links: added confirmation prompts before opening external links from chat and preview
  • Project duplication: duplicating a project now preserves your selected text-to-speech provider
  • Save + validation stability: fixed cases where Save could get stuck, and improved messaging for invalid redirect URL inputs
  • More reliable counts: fixed an issue where completed session totals could display incorrectly
