Strella Changelog – January 30, 2026
This week we shipped an AI-guided project setup flow, a new Billing page with credits and transaction history, a new recruitment funnel view, and transcript search in the session modal.
AI chat guided project setup
You can now create a research project through an AI guided chat flow. The AI chat will draft your question guide, screener and draft audiences so you can get from idea to launched project faster.
New Billing page (credits + transaction history)
Strella now has a dedicated Billing page where you can purchase credits and manage your organization’s billing in one place.
From Billing, you can:
- Buy credits up front and use them across projects (including participant recruitment fees and incentive payments)
- Review Transaction History for every credit add/spend, with filters and CSV export for accounting
You’ll also see your current credit balance in the top-right navigation across the Strella platform if your balance is above $0.
Recruitment funnel breakdown
The Recruit tab now includes a Recruitment Funnel view (Recruit → ⋮ menu → Recruitment funnel) to help you understand drop-off through the recruitment process (self-recruited or panel).
It also includes pass-rate detail for each screener question so you can quickly spot where candidates are failing.
Transcript search in the session modal
The session modal transcript now supports searching with Ctrl+F / Cmd+F, matching native browser search behavior. Use Enter / Shift+Enter to jump between matches, and Escape to close search.
Small fixes
- Highlight reel editing: Improved performance when adjusting quote selections in long transcripts.
- AI Chat quote links: Fixed an issue where clicking a quote in AI Chat could open the wrong participant’s session.
